INSHORE – In North Sabine Trout (Seatrout, Spotted) are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder(Flounder, Southern) are fair on jigs tipped with Shrimp around marsh drains. In South Sabine Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Redfish (Drum, Red) and Black Drum (Drum, Black) are good at the jetty on live Shrimp. Trout are fair to good on the reefs on live Shrimp and Down South Lures. Through Bolivar Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on soft plastics and plugs. Black Drum and Redfish are good at Rollover Pass.

INSHORE – With all of the rain fishing has been hit or miss as of late. Prior to the front we were finding Redfish (Drum, Red) that were fairly steady. Trout (Seatrout, Spotted) has been slow. Whitebait is working best. Mullet and Squid are hooking the biggest fish. We hope to see this continue into the weekend.

INSHORE – Flounder (Flounder, Southern) are swimming Sabine Pass since the water hasn’t been too cold. Anglers are fishing for them using Mud Minnows. The wind has made it a bit tough to get out but the fish are biting when you can get out there or if you can find an area that is a bit sheltered. Seatrout (Seatrout, Spotted) and Redfish (Drum, Red) are mixed in.

In Bolivar Trout, Black Drum (Drum, Black), Sand Trout (Seatrout, Sand) and Redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Trout are fair to good while drifting shell on plastics. Bull Redfish are good on the beachfront. Generally, the best time to fish is during a moving tide.

INSHORE – Croaker has been hooking Trout (Seatrout, Spotted) and some Flounder (Flounder, Southern) that have shown up. The occasional Redfish (Drum, Red) have also been caught. Mud Minnows are best for Flounder and Redfish. Mullet has been a key bait for all three. Live Shrimp is the most productive. The Bayou is always a great area to search for fish.

INSHORE – The fishing has been a bit hit and miss as of late due to the heat. This definitely has changed the fish pattern. Trout (Seatrout, Spotted) and Redfish (Drum, Red) are in the Sabine and around the jetties. There are more Redfish than Trout. Everyone is running white topwaters early in the morning. Flounder (Flounder, Southern) have been along the channel as well. They are loving Mud Minnows or Finger Mullet.

INSHORE – The Trout (Seatrout, Spotted) continue to bite in both the North and the South Sabine. Search under the birds and pods of Shad to find them. Soft plastics are working particularly well. In the South end the fish are still swimming the jetties, and live bait on topwaters. will be the key to hooking them in this area. Reds (Drum, Red) are still in the North. They can be found in the marsh using small topwaters. There is also some Sheepshead in the South. As usual they are taking live Shrimp. Keep to the structures to find them.
