Florida North East Fishing Report

As anglers take another step towards recovery from all the recent weather we have found a steady inshore bite of fish over the past few days. The trick has been to find the pockets of clean water. The Redfish are beginning to slow due to the conditions however if you can locate an area with cleaner water on a strong incoming tide you're more likely to find the bite. Live bait has been working well with the ability to smell and move naturally in the water. Trout are still around as well however they are far more particular to their environment than the Redfish. With the mixed up water they are difficult to find. Clean pockets of water are required to find them and even then it's been a tough bite. If you're targeting them then live bait will also be essential. Flounder have made a strong appearance into this week. Fishing around structures such as the Ferry Slip near Atlantic Beach has produced well on live bait. Same as the Redfish and Trout, look for those clean pockets of water during the day to find them. We hope to see conditions continue to clear up through the weekend.
